1st October 2024 – Raghad starts her PhD in the Searcey group and Suzanne joins for a postdoc.

Nov 2024 – We say goodbye to Ellie Ivens, who is joining Marco at Novalabs. The thesis is nearly there too!

July 2024 – Congratulations to Lily Cassidy on passing her PhD viva! Thanks to Steve Hilton of UCL School of Pharmacy and Chris Hamilton here at UEA for being her examiners.

May 2024 – Good luck for the future to Zoë Goddard. Zoë carried out her PhD in the lab then went on to Post-doc and become a lecturer! She’s now joining Anne Osbourn’s group at the John Innes Centre to work on triterpenes as potential drugs.

Dec 2023 – After almost 10 years in the group, we said goodbye to Marco Cominetti, who has gone to work for Novalabs, over on the NRP. We wish him good luck in the new job and we’re sure he’ll stay in touch!

16th January 2023 – Congratulations Vicky on completing her MSc!

16th June 2023 – Congratulations Ellie and Team Medicinal Chemistry, second runner-ups in the 2023 Merck Innovation Cup!
